This award has been presented by the Mexican Academy of Sciences in conjunction with the Mexican Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO (CONALMEX) since 2007. The purpose of this award is to encourage the participation of female scientists in graduate programs at universities worldwide in the fields of Mathematical or Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology. Participants must be under 40 years of age and have completed their doctoral studies in the past few years.
